Advocacy is for you if :
- You are experiencing difficulties in your various dealings with your child's school or social services and need support.
- You would like to help other parents.
- You would like to connect with another parent who has experienced the same situation as you.
- You would like to be part of an organization that represents you at various events.

Support for your family
The Solidarité de parents team is actively involved in various community consultations and we are diversifying our ties with partners from various sectors. This involvement allows us to advocate the point of view of parents of disabled people and to defend their interests.
Despite these efforts, you may encounter difficulties in your various dealings with your child’s school or public health and social services. In this case, you may need support to defend your rights, and we may be able to help.

What parents are saying…
"I am happy to have been able to help other parents because when I had to go through this step, someone also helped me."
"Solidarity is recognized as a voice for families in need of respite."
