The "Tête en congé" program is for you if:
- You want to avoid taking repeated time off work.
- You need to balance family life with work.
- You want to focus on your job, knowing that a trusted caregiver is taking care of your child.
- Your child attends a primary or secondary school, or your young adult, over the age of 21, attends a day activity that breaks during long school holidays.

A break for you and your child
The “Tête en congé” program offers working parents the opportunity to balance their family and professional responsibilities during long school breaks.
Depending on your employment status, whether full or part-time, Solidarité de parents may be able to pay a caregiver that you recruit 20 or 35 hours-week during long school holidays, such as summer vacation, the holiday season, or spring break.
This program is offered to member parents of the organization whose annual membership is up to date. Certain criteria apply.

What parents are saying...
"Thanks to the "Tête en congé" program, I was able to keep my job."
